Black candy eaten often in Denmark, Norway,
and Iceland that uses a very sweet plant called licorice.

in cute packages, looking like red gummy which makes you think that it’s candy.
But if you eat it thinking it’s candy, you go through hell.

(Iceland is made up of ice on the surface and a volcano underneath, so the hot spring industry is pretty popular)

While I drew these, I was listening Fredrik Swahn’s version of “Du Gamla Du Fria” (the Swedish national anthem) that I bought off iTunes.
It’s a really good song!
I usually have “jana gana mana” (India’s national anthem) playing in my list.
This calms me down, too.

Scandanavian Rangers


I finished!! It’s the 5 scandinavians.
It kind of was an interesting touch so it turned out surprisingly nice.

Norwegian saying:
“If Scandinavia was made up of brothers, Sweden and Denmark would both be the eldest, always fighting, and Iceland would think that he isn’t an older nor younger brother.”
