>With the exception of Hungary, Belarus, Ukraine, Liechtenstein, Seychelles, Belgium, Taiwan, Vietnam, Monaco, and Wy, what girl countries exist?

At present, Miss Czechia is planned to be a girl.

>Children packed in a bag and taken away to Spain, a year later, if they’re good, come back and such things.

Spain, what have you done. . . !!

[T/N: This is a reference to Sinterklaas in the Netherlands.]

>I somehow knew about the Nordic countries’ high calorie intake, but in data from a few years ago, Austria’s food energy intake was number 1 in the world.

And yet amazingly the obesity rate is lower in Europe.
Austria should publish a book about how to create a body that does not gain weight by also eating early!

>Please come to Gero Onsen, too!

By the way, it was good!

[T/N: Gero Onsen]

>I’m thinking about going to do a homestay, but I’m not sure whether to do it in America or UK.
On the whole, which way is more comfortable?

For homestay, it really depends on the house!
By one house it could be heaven, by another house house it could be hell, it depends.

Even if you use the same agency for homestay, on one hand, you’ll find a lucky house with a huge garden and pool belonging to great people, and your room will be fully equipped with a TV and many other things.
On the other hand, no matter how you look at it, it’s said that an assigned room only had a bed put in a warehouse and the food was terrible.
Really, with luck, since the highs and lows can be extreme plus the difficulty of homestay, I can’t say which country is better.

I’m relatively sure that I heard of a story from senpai about a family who is familiar with foreign students, that has a lot of accommodation, and has accepted about 10 people for homestay for many years in a big house.

If not using an agency, you can also keep in contact with such large homestay families who will make websites and invite occupants on bulletin boards.
When you keep in touch personally with a friend, you’ll receive room and house photos.
When it seems that you’ve made a decision during e-mail exchange, it looks like you can live happily with a family you get along with.

Since speaking in English is required for homestay, I think it’s a good environment for improving your English.

When you’re living with people of a different culture it can be rather troublesome if you don’t know what will happen, but you will also have fun and learn a lot.
Hopefully it will be a good study abroad!

>Europeans do treatment and pay attention to teeth alignment since childhood, and yet when the front teeth stick out, is this a goof?

That’s right. They do care a lot about teeth alignment.
On dramas, there are such joke scenes in which a cute kid laughs and the alignment of their teeth become crooked, which startles the protangonist.
“Different places” kind of thing, I guess.*

>Are you in the middle of working on a manuscript right now?

This month I have to finish early to progress for the end of the year.
It was kinda tough but next month should be alright!

>Itamochi and Spainmochi are like clay, can you knead them into a different shape?

It became a somewhat different creature…

  1. I did the first one that needed translating plus the last two.
I want to work on the rest, hopefully fairly soon.
