Germany is Spain’s 2nd biggest trading partner, so they have very good business relations. Occasionally Germany will visit Spain’s place for fun too, so Spain is very thankful.
Since Spain asked Germany to come over as a tourist so many times, Spain is now a very popular holiday destination for Germans.

First off, you should look up customs and manners in the country you are visiting through websites or books, and make sure you remember them so that things will go smoothly.
Since you’ll be living in close quarters with the family it may be stressful at times and you will also learn a lot of new things, but I wish you the best!
