I originally didn’t plan to make him appear.
But lately I met a person who made research in Okinawa and he was so kind as to teach me a lot, I was invited to a party of Okinawa people, and they told me many legends and interesting information about the region, so I can say I broadened my horizons. I think it would be interesting to introduce Ryukyu even in a slightly alternated position.
I put together my information on Okinawa.
□ Important historical points aren’t treated as sightseeing spots, but are standing silently inside of the city next to regular houses.
□ The Legend of Hamahigashima Island, the sacred Kudakajima is surprisingly quiet.
Even seen from a world-wide perspective, the castles in Okinawa are very unique constructions. The centre of these is the Shuri castle.
□ At Ikeijima, there is a place that the locals call “Ponyo’s House”,
the houses lined up in the region look like a spitting image of the houses in the movie “Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea”.
□ When the Ryukyu king has a visitor from China

□ The Ryukyu dynasty has had a variety of more than 100 sweets to eat.
□ Chinsukou (an Okinawan sweet) originally was in a chrysanthemum style.
□ Chinsukou could originally be eaten only by royal aristocrats visiting from foreign countries.
□ They are currently selling “Chinkosukou”. In the “chinko” form.
□ And recently there’s moe chinsukou, “moechin” offered for sale.

□地元高校の甲子園の試合中はタクシーが極端に減る。

□ジャスコが近所にある奴は勝ち組である。
マックスバリューかサンエーかかねひでかリウボウがあっても勝ち組である。

アニメ全然やってないけどオタク的には嬉しいらしい。

地元番組がやたら豊富で面白い。
□多分地元CMが全都道府県中一番多い。

□よくマイペース、のんびり屋といわれるが実際は妙なところでせっかちだ。
車に乗ると特にせっかちでのんびり屋が遺憾なく発揮される。
□エイサーで振り回してる太鼓は重い物だと７Kg近く。
□あちこちにエイサー団体があって国際通りで腕を競い合っている。
メンバーはだいたい25歳くらいまで。
□エイサーやってると半端なくベコベコに痩せる。
