So this time, I finally have some news for you!

A new series Hetalia World✰Star has started at Jump+!
It will feature countries and historical figures in omnibus styles, there will be roman emperors, impressionists, and also that person you are all so familiar with.


Germany in Jump+ is more gruff.

I’ve once drawn Emperor Nero as a muscular man with black hair, but after some research, it turns out he’s a subculture dude with bright hair and light-blue eyes, and that’s why I’ve drawn him this way in the new series.

I drew the cover of this comic!
My editor said something worrisome about this project so I was bracing myself for it, but it turned out to be even wilder than my expectations.

It’s a new horror series by iijima-ssensei where the setting is moved to an elementary school. I drew the cover and character designs for it.
Wednesday will also be full of characters will very unique personalities.
Some stories are eerie, others are strange, some are only scary to the person who experienced it, and others are outright terrifying if you really think about them! There are many different types of stories, it’s a great read!

And now something that’s already been announced.

About the validated version, which the introduction and biggish films went into earlier:
This evening, because the file size for the original version got bigger and the staff had to inspect it,
we scheduled the distribution to tomorrow. Sorry!

Because the validated version finished shaping up for up to 50 mins,
we wondered if films are okay, and if those anxious should recommend downloading them instead.
It’s because the original version is big, right?…

A-kun is the only one who tells the scary story.

A-kun, first year student

A friendly schoolboy who likes Shinkansen, fast trains, and cats.
Because he got so excited and fractured his bones from falling down the stairs
during the entrance ceremony, he was kinda like a celebrity during his first year in high school.。

The protagonist has to completely go with this guy’s story
which is hard to tell if it’s scary or not.
The main thing is, “As soon as the person in question actually experiences it, it may be scary, but
because he doesn’t look like he would get scared, it’s not a very scary story to him”

Lacking common sense, the person in question does crazy things with normal intentions.
He’s the kind of guy who, even when a ghost appears, he’ll ignore it,
and when Tamago kake gohan (egg on rice) is in front of him, he’ll focus on that.
Because his nature doesn’t involve thinking deeply about things,
there are quite a few scenes of him saying, “Hey, let’s jump in here!”

155 cm (~5′) and a bit plump.
Since all members of his family are surprisingly tall and have skinny builds,
he’s the only person who is smaller in length, and he gets worried about being slightly thicker in width.。

Big-boned.

・Because he’s the type who doesn’t read instructions, he has a vague memory of everything.
　Since he’s also extremely lazy,
　when performing “follow a certain procedure and witness the monster”-related ghost stories,
　he’ll get the general procedure wrong, drastically skip parts,
　and it’ll progress rather awkwardly.

・By the way, about the bright colour of his hair:
　He intended to dye it a little bit at home, but forgot that when he was dyeing it.
　Because he was enthusiastic about the game and neglected his hair, it became this colour.

Scary story that happened at a countryside high school

Sorry I’ve been absent for a long while.
Here’s news of the commemoration visual novel game.

The story, which will be distributed very soon, is a horror visual novel game in which
Y of the newspaper club listens to the scary story of this district
from students gathered by senpai by plan of the newspaper club.
Since it’s a free distribution, if you don’t mind, please try to play it.

In the tribute work of the scary story which happened at my school of youth,
the school principal is a man who, by tradition, faithfully partakes in the Awa Dance Festival.
As for the great guest, we’ve got a great scenario written for him!

He is a Canadian-like person, but he isn’t a Canadian.
The protagonist’s friends looking like they’re from Eastern Europe is also an optical illusion.

Y – Protagonist, 2nd year student

For the protagonist of “Countryside High School”,
since he opened the door of an empty classroom, the poor boy had terrible experiences:
somebody getting killed, being infected by something strange,
ending up taking care of a strange pet, etc.

Nothing really stands out about him, but having a friendly atmosphere, he’s modest but won’t make enemies.
He’s the type that can get along well with just about anyone.
He believes in not disturbing the peace.

He was an original concert band club member, but he quit because it was too much hard work.
He was in charge of the trombone.
At 175 cm (~5’7) and having some muscle,
he considered the sports club, but stuck with band club with the muscles.
He’s very partial to the newspaper club either because
they would do club activities seriously or because of senpai.

By choosing to continue the story which depends on a normal boy
he will get really irritated at the narrator at any place on almost all the routes,
and odd bits of side-poking and lashing out will come and go.

He has a crush on L-san, someone he’s shared the same classes with continuously since primary school,
but to be really frank, he is discovering much about her.

L-san – 2nd year student

A classmate who’s a childhood friend and the unrequited love of the protagonist.
A bright, active girl, she isn’t a beauty,
but she’s rather popular with many people regardless of gender.

The meeting of the scary story hasn’t been added,
but according to the route it will appear.

Apologies for the absence and a big thank you

I’m so sorry for not updating for so long!
All I could think about this month was about how much I wanted to update the Halloween event and how much I wanted to draw hetalia, and I hope I’ll be finally able to continue tomorrow. I’m sorry I made you all worry.

This month’s serialisation combined with the work on the tankoubon and two other projects made me incredibly busy in the last days, but inspired by the enthusiasm of all the people working late in the night on Christmas Eve and Day and also thanks to the encouraging letters and messages, I somehow got through everything.

Thank you for all the Christmas presents!
There were many cats and bunnies, so cute! I’ll treasure them all. Also everybody is so good at drawing!
